A panel led by businessman Narishwor Sharma Poudel has announced its candidacy for the leadership of the Butwal Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The announcement was made in Butwal on Wednesday at a press conference, where the panel presented a 20-point commitment.
The panel’s slogan is “New Thinking, New Ideas, Inclusive Shared Leadership.” Poudel, a former vice-chairman of the chamber and ward chairman of Butwal-4, is contesting for the post of chairman.
Chamber convention and election
The chamber’s 73rd annual general assembly and 26th convention will begin on Ashoj 23 and continue through Ashoj 26. A new leadership team will be elected for a three-year term during the convention.
