More than 500 containers have been stranded along the road from Lete to the Korala border point in Mustang district after heavy rainfall, floods, landslides and snowfall blocked the route. The containers have been stuck at various locations in the district for about a week.
The disruption followed continuous rain from Asoj 8 to 11. The stranded cargo includes goods intended for the Dashain and Tihar festivals.
Road repair work underway in Myagdi
Heavy rain also blocked roads in Myagdi district. Repair work is underway at Pokharebagar, Kunauta and Baisari, where the routes were obstructed.
