This year's monsoon has begun withdrawing from Nepal, starting with Sudurpaschim Province on the morning of October 3, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
The withdrawal has reached most areas of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, western parts of Lumbini Province, and some areas of western Gandaki Province.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division reported that the monsoon has withdrawn from:
- Most areas of Sudurpaschim Province
- Most areas of Karnali Province
- Western parts of Lumbini Province
- Some areas of western Gandaki Province
