The Department of Money Laundering Investigation raided the Maharajgunj residence of former chief justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana on Wednesday, according to Nepal Press and Aajako Artha.
The team had earlier searched the homes of Narayan Dahal, Dipak Timilsina and Nabin Basnet, among others linked to the case. Bizmandu also reported that investigators searched the home of former justice Nabaraj Thapaliya.
Rana was taken into police custody last week
Rana was taken from his home into police custody a week earlier over an alleged security threat. His mobile phone was seized at the time.
