Police arrested a 45-year-old man in Morang on Thursday morning after recovering a homemade gun and materials used to make weapons from a house in Letang Municipality-7.
The man, identified as Purna Lawati Limbu, was arrested at around 9 am at a house in Warangi Koladhari, police said.
Homemade gun and forge recovered
Police acted on a tip-off that Limbu was making and selling homemade guns at his home. During the operation, they recovered a homemade gun and weapon-making materials, including a forge.
Limbu was taken into custody following the recovery.
