Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in Kathmandu over alleged involvement in online betting and cryptocurrency transactions worth more than Rs 33.8 million, according to reports published on October 8-9, 2026.
The suspect is originally from Chandranagar Rural Municipality-3 in Sarlahi and currently resides in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32. Police took him into custody in connection with the alleged transactions.
The case concerns cryptocurrency transactions valued at more than Rs 33.8 million and alleged online betting activity.
