Cleaning, painting and beautification work has been intensified at the Maitidevi Temple premises in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30 as Bada Dashain approaches.
Painting is underway to make the temple area more attractive ahead of the festival, when it draws large crowds of devotees. After the painting is completed, decorative lights are planned for the premises, according to Maitidevi Temple Area Management Committee member-secretary Ramesh.
Improvements ahead of Dashain
The ongoing work focuses on refreshing the temple area before the busy festival period. The planned lights are expected to further enhance the premises once the painting is finished.
