The Pashupatinath Temple Management Committee in London, United Kingdom, has donated Rs 5 million to support people affected by floods in Nepal.
The funds, collected under the leadership of committee vice-chair Tara Bhattarai, were handed over to Nepal’s Acting Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Bipin Duwadi.
Donation sent to disaster relief fund
Committee chair Romanath Pandey said the amount was deposited into the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund through the Nepali embassy.
Duwadi praised the Nepali diaspora community for supporting their homeland during times of disaster.
