Continuous rainfall since Ashoj 8 has triggered landslides at 46 locations along the Kaligandaki Corridor, disrupting transport services on the Maladhunga–Beni–Jomsom–Korala road.
The corridor project said road sections from Latikhola, Farsya, Jukekhola, Beni, Dana, Ghasa and Marpha to Korala have been affected. Landslides, falling rocks, flooding in rivers and streams, and road erosion have damaged sections of the route.
