Candidates have begun announcing their bids for leadership of the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry ahead of its 47th general assembly and election, scheduled for Ashoj 23 and 24.
Raju Maharjan has declared his candidacy for general secretary. He has pledged to strengthen the association and make it more business-friendly.
Presidential race takes shape
Current senior vice president Sushan Maharjan and general secretary Bhuminandan Karmacharya have also announced their candidacies for president, along with their respective panels.
The election will determine the chamber’s leadership for the coming term.
