Nepali Congress leader Krishna Kumari Basnet has announced her candidacy for the post of central member at the party's 15th General Convention.
Basnet is a former vice-chairperson of the Nepali Congress. She has also held leadership roles in the Nepal Students' Union at Pashupati Campus.
Basnet's political and professional background
Basnet previously served as vice-chairperson of the student union at Pashupati Campus and chairperson of the Nepal Students' Union's Pashupati Campus unit.
She holds postgraduate degrees in political science and rural development and works as a lawyer.
