Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki has urged people to donate their eyes after death, saying donated corneas can help restore sight to people with visual impairments.

Speaking in Udayapur, Karki described eye donation as a great act of virtue. He said donated corneas should be safely stored and used when needed.

Eye donation campaign in Koshi Province

The appeal is part of an eye donation campaign initiated by the Koshi Province government. Karki called on everyone to support the effort by pledging to donate their eyes after death.
