The Koshi Province Council of Ministers has decided to table the Provincial Planning Commission’s annual report for fiscal year 2082/83 in the Koshi Provincial Assembly. The decision was made at a Cabinet meeting on 8 October 2026.
Provincial government spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Gombu Sherpa said the meeting also assigned Provincial Secretary Ramkrishna Adhikari to take on additional responsibility for the Ministry of Social Development.
Decisions made by the Koshi Cabinet
- The Provincial Planning Commission’s annual report for fiscal year 2082/83 will be presented to the Koshi Provincial Assembly.
- Ramkrishna Adhikari, a secretary at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, will additionally handle the work of the Ministry of Social Development until further arrangement.
Report to be tabled in the Assembly
The Cabinet’s decision concerns the Provincial Planning Commission’s annual report for the 2082/83 fiscal year. The Koshi Provincial Assembly is to receive the report.
Adhikari’s additional responsibility at the Ministry of Social Development will continue until a further arrangement is made, according to Sherpa. The decisions were also reported by Nagarik News.
