Kaski Police have taken action against 882 motorcycles with modified, loud exhausts since launching Operation 365 last year in Asoj, according to the District Police Office. During the operation, 36 motorcycle riders were taken into custody and action was taken against them.
On Friday, police impounded 11 modified motorcycles producing excessive noise and initiated legal proceedings, Deputy Superintendent of Police Birendra Kumar Paswan said.
Action under Operation 365
The operation targets motorcycles fitted with modified exhausts that produce loud noise. Police said the action has continued since the campaign began last year in Asoj.
