The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has halted test production at the 40-megawatt Rahughat Hydropower Project in Myagdi after flooding in the Kali Gandaki River caused damage last week.
The project is located in Raghu Ganga Rural Municipality and was built by Raghu Ganga Hydropower, an NEA subsidiary. Reports said the flood damage prompted the suspension of testing.
