A National Janamorcha leader raised the issue of billions of rupees embezzled from cooperatives during the opening session of the Nepali Congress 15th General Convention at Khulamanch in Kathmandu on Sunday. The remarks, directed at Rastriya Swatantra Party chairman Ravi Lamichhane, drew loud heckling from the crowd.
The speaker was identified in reports as an acting general secretary of National Janamorcha, but the reports differed on his name. Ratopati identified him as Ghanshyam Ghimire, while another report named him as Ghanshyam Neupane.
