Nepali Congress leader Ishwari Neupane has announced her candidacy for central joint general secretary at the party’s upcoming 15th general convention, scheduled to begin on Ashoj 18.
Neupane said she would contest for the joint general secretary post and would not run for a lower position if she could not compete for that role.
Neupane’s party experience
Neupane has served three terms as a central member of the Nepali Congress. She is also a former parliamentary party whip and former chair of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee.
