India has proposed Sudhakar Dalela as its new ambassador to Nepal and sent an agrement for his appointment. The post became vacant after Naveen Srivastava completed his tenure and returned from Nepal.
Dalela joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1993 and has more than three decades of diplomatic experience. He previously served as India's ambassador to Bhutan and has worked at Indian missions abroad, including in Brasilia.
