Home Ministry Urges Complaints Over Misuse of Security Personnel

The Ministry of Home Affairs has urged the public to report cases in which security personnel are deployed contrary to official procedures or used for household and personal work.

In a public notice issued on Friday, ministry spokesperson and Joint Secretary Anand Kafle said personnel being used in this way must be returned to their assigned offices within seven days. The ministry warned that action would be taken if security personnel are found performing duties unrelated to security.
