A dispute over share-sale payments at Haji Eye Hospital, now Rani Biratnagar Eye Hospital Pvt. Ltd., has prompted a protest in Biratnagar. Shareholders allege that hospital chair Mannu Kumar Gupta has not paid Rs 1.58 crore for shares they sold 11 months ago.
The shareholders staged a protest in Biratnagar on Saturday, demanding payment. Gupta, however, claims that all dues owed to the former operators have been paid.

The disagreement concerns shares sold at the hospital in Rani, Biratnagar Metropolitan City-14. Shareholders say the payment remains outstanding, while Gupta maintains that the dues have been settled.
