The government has adjusted fares for electric public vehicles operating on inter-provincial routes, with revised rates applying to passenger and cargo vehicles in the Terai and hill regions.
The Department of Transport Management released the new fare rates on Thursday. The schedule covers short-, medium- and long-distance travel and sets revised fares per kilometer.
Revised electric vehicle fares
The adjustment applies to electric vehicles operating on inter-provincial routes and includes:
- Passenger and cargo vehicles
- Terai and hill routes
- Short-, medium- and long-distance travel
- Revised per-kilometer fares
