The government has registered the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2083 BS, with the Federal Parliament Secretariat in Kathmandu, opening the bill’s formal process in Parliament.
Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Pratibha Rawal registered the bill on Wednesday, Secretariat spokesperson Ekram Giri said. It has been listed as Bill No. 35.
What the bill is titled
The bill is formally titled the “Bill to Amend and Consolidate Federal Civil Service Formation, Operation, and Service Conditions.” Its stated purpose is to amend and consolidate provisions concerning the formation and operation of the federal civil service and the service conditions of its employees.
