The government has promoted Joint Secretary Padmakumar Mainali to the post of secretary in the Nepal Engineering Service group. The decision was made at a Cabinet meeting held on Monday at Singha Durbar, government spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel said.
The same meeting approved a grant of approximately Rs 100 million from the Norwegian government for a programme promoting the clean energy transition in municipalities.
