The government has taken preparations to register 14 additional bills in the federal Parliament to the final stage, according to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. The move comes as 36 bills are currently pending in Parliament.
Ekram Giri, joint secretary and spokesperson of the Parliament Secretariat, provided the information. The details were reported by Onlinekhabar and News of Nepal.
Bill registrations in the House of Representatives
The House of Representatives registered 16 bills during the month of Asoj alone. That brought the total number of bills registered this year to 30, the highest figure recorded in a six-month period over the past three years.
