The government has declared five local units in Parbat district disaster crisis zones after floods and landslides affected the area, according to a notice published in the Nepal Gazette on Thursday.
Jaljala Rural Municipality has been designated a disaster crisis zone in its entirety for three months. In Phalewas Municipality, the designation applies to wards 2, 3, 7, 8, 10 and 11.

The notice also includes Ward 6, Shaligram, of Bihadi Rural Municipality and areas of Mahashila. The announcement identifies five local units as crisis-hit, although the available details do not specify the fifth unit.
