Geologists Begin Field Study of Landslide-Prone Areas in Myagdi

A team of geologists began a field study of landslide-affected areas in Myagdi district on Saturday, focusing on zones prone to landslides.

The study is led by Bhaskar Khatiwada, president of the Nepal Geological Society, and coordinated by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA). Surat, the mayor of Beni Municipality, was also mentioned in connection with the study.

On-site assessment in Myagdi

The geologists are assessing landslide-prone areas in the district in the field. The study is intended to examine locations affected by landslides.
