Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey has urged the federal government to provide the resources needed to repair roads damaged by floods and landslides and support reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts.
Pandey asked the government to arrange resources to bring national highways and strategic roads back into operation as soon as possible, with the aim of reopening them before Dashain. The roads were damaged by floods and landslides from Ashoj 9 to 11.
The appeals were reported from Pokhara on Ashoj 17.
