Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa said Parliament is not open because the Prime Minister is not accountable to it. He called for open spaces across the country, beginning with Singha Durbar and Parliament, and urged open dialogue within political parties and society.
Thapa made the remarks on Sunday at the opening ceremony of the Nepali Congress's 15th general convention at Khulamanch in Kathmandu. He said open discussion was needed not only in Parliament but also across society, the state and political parties.
