Four members have been appointed to the Nepal Pharmacy Council and four to the Nepal Nursing Council, bringing the total number of newly appointed council members to eight.
The newly appointed members took the oath of office and secrecy before Minister for Health and Food Hygiene Nisha Mehta. The appointments were reported on October 5, 2026.
Appointments to Nepal’s health councils
The appointments cover two professional councils: the Nepal Pharmacy Council and the Nepal Nursing Council. Four members were appointed to each council.
The members completed the oath of office and secrecy before Minister Mehta.
