Four leaders of the Upendra Yadav-led Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal resigned en masse on Sunday, giving up their ordinary party membership as well as their positions. The resignations were reported from Kathmandu.
The leaders said they will now work full-time in the Hunkaar Madhesh campaign.
Leaders who resigned
Those who resigned are:
- Indu Kumari Sharma, former federal lawmaker
- Yusuf Safi, central advisory member
- Advocate Ghanshyam Sharma, central election committee member
- Pushpa Raj Chaman, youth leader
