Former Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LoSPA) Nepal Lumbini Province president Santosh Kumar Pandey has objected to a merger programme organised by Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal's Lumbini Province committee, scheduled for Ashoj 18.
Pandey has described the programme as a one-sided move and demanded that it be stopped. The event concerns the adjustment of the former JSP Nepal and LoSPA Nepal committees in Lumbini Province.
Dispute over the committee adjustment
The planned programme comes as a dispute continues between the two sides over participation in the Lumbini Province government. Pandey's objection centres on the proposed process for bringing the former party committees together.
