Floods and landslides have blocked the Middle Hill Lokmarg and the Kaligandaki Corridor, disrupting vehicle movement in several districts of Gandaki Province for two weeks.
Flooding in the Kaligandaki River damaged the Maldhunga bridge, which connects Parbat and Baglung on the Lokmarg, and the Pokharebagar bridge in the Myagdi section of the corridor. The damage has halted direct transport on both routes.
