Film director Min Bahadur Bham has announced that he will contest for the post of vice-general secretary at the Nepali Congress's 15th general convention.
Bham, who directed the Nepali film Kalopothi, made the announcement after being elected as a convention delegate from Mugu. He told OnlineKhabar that he would run for the position from the backward region.
From filmmaking to party politics
Bham has long been active in Nepali Congress politics alongside his filmmaking career. His candidacy announcement follows his election as a delegate from Mugu to the party convention.
