Education and Sports Minister Sasmita Pokharel has urged Rajarshi Janak University to take the lead in reforming education in Madhesh Province and work to identify and resolve problems in the sector.
Speaking in Janakpurdham on October 7 during a visit to the university, Pokharel said the institution should help drive improvements in education across the province. She also serves as the university’s Pro-Chancellor.

Pokharel instructed the university to identify problems affecting the education sector in Madhesh and take steps to resolve them. Her remarks highlighted the university’s role in leading education reform in the province.
