Nepali Congress leader Dila Sangraula Pant has said the party’s transformation is impossible without properly evaluating and recognising the contributions of its long-active grassroots workers.
Speaking at a press conference in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Sangraula stressed that workers at the party’s lower levels must receive due recognition. Her remarks come amid internal discussions about organisational reform in the Nepali Congress.
Grassroots workers and party reform
Sangraula highlighted the role of workers who have remained active at the grassroots, saying their contributions must be considered as the party discusses change. She framed their evaluation and recognition as necessary for the Nepali Congress to transform.
