Advance booking for bus tickets for the Dashain festival opens from Friday, according to a report by Thaha Khabar.
Authorities have warned that action will be taken against bus operators who charge passengers more than the fixed fare. The measure is intended to help manage festival travel and prevent overcharging during the busy season.
Action against fare overcharging
Passengers who are charged above the fixed fare can expect the operators responsible to face action, reports say. The warning comes as advance bookings open for people travelling during Dashain.
