The CPN-UML has decided to hold a national workers’ gathering in Kathmandu in the first week of Mangsir, party secretary Mahesh Basnet said. The decision was made at a Standing Committee meeting on Thursday.
Basnet said around 20,000 people are expected to attend the gathering. Afterward, the party plans to launch a strong movement on public livelihood issues, including against rising prices.
