Police arrested Osim Ansari and Priyanka Pariyar in Itahari after a complaint over a video allegedly filmed inside Pashupatinath Temple.
Police have arrested Osim Ansari and his wife, Priyanka Pariyar, in Itahari, Sunsari, on the charge of entering the main Pashupatinath Temple and filming a video inside the premises.
The arrests were made following a complaint filed by the Pashupati Area Development Trust. The couple has been sent to the Gaushala police circle in Kathmandu for further investigation and legal action.
The Trust has also formed a committee to investigate the incident.
