Comedian Shivashankar Rijal, widely known as Jogindra Panwala, has announced that he will contest for central member of the Nepali Congress at the party’s 15th General Convention.
Rijal was elected as a convention representative from Sarlahi constituency no. 4 for the third time. He said he intends to raise issues concerning the art sector at the political level.
Rijal’s bid for Nepali Congress central membership
Rijal’s candidacy will bring his perspective as a comedian and member of the art sector into the party’s central membership contest. He said he plans to advocate for art-sector issues through political channels.
