CMC Cancer Institute Trains More Than 200 Bharatpur Health Volunteers on Breast Cancer

The CMC Cancer Institute, a sister organisation of Chitwan Medical College (CMC) Teaching Hospital, has provided breast cancer awareness training to health volunteers in Bharatpur Metropolitan City. More than 200 volunteers from wards 1 to 29 took part in the session held on Friday.

Breast cancer surgeon Dr. Sangita Thapa of the hospital spoke about the role of volunteers in reaching households across every ward of the metropolitan city.

Breast Cancer Awareness Across Bharatpur

The training brought together volunteers from all 29 wards of Bharatpur. The session focused on breast cancer awareness and how volunteers could help extend outreach to households throughout the city.
