Chief Justice Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma has called for stronger digital infrastructure to keep the judiciary functioning during crises, stressing the importance of uninterrupted justice delivery.
Speaking on Monday at a regional forum on internet governance in Kathmandu, Sharma said Nepal needs to further develop a modern, information technology-based justice system.
Digital systems and continuity of justice
Sharma made the remarks while addressing the gathering on how to maintain justice delivery without disruption. He emphasized that strong digital infrastructure is essential for the judiciary to continue operating during times of crisis.
