Nirmala Sherpa, deputy mayor of Bhojpur Municipality, has resigned from her post after the CPN (UML) expelled her from the party, including from ordinary membership.

Nabin Pradhan, the CPN (UML)-elected ward chair of Bhojpur Municipality-8, has also resigned. The party had taken action against him for acting against its interests.
