The Besisahar–Chame road has reopened to vehicular movement after floods and landslides blocked the route for six days. The road was cleared of landslides and debris at Khotro in Nason Rural Municipality–3 and Koto in Chame Rural Municipality–5.
Nabin Bista, an information officer, confirmed that the route has been brought back into operation.
