Bagmati Province Chief Minister Kiran Thapa Magar has announced plans to expand services and treatment capacity at Hetauda Hospital as the number of patients visiting the facility continues to grow.
Speaking at a program organized by the Madan Bhandari Health Science Institute, Thapa Magar said priority is being given to adding a cath lab, introducing MRI services and increasing the number of beds at the hospital.
Plans to strengthen hospital services
The chief minister said the daily flow of patients to Hetauda Hospital has been increasing. He also noted that government hospitals are gradually improving specialist services, staffing and access to necessary equipment.
The proposed additions are intended to expand the hospital’s capacity and range of services in response to growing patient demand.
