Inam Sapkota, described as a middleman linked to suspended Armed Police Force (APF) Additional Inspector General Banshiraj Dahal, is being held in police custody in Kathmandu.
Police arrested Sapkota at Tribhuvan International Airport on Asoj 14 as he was about to fly to New Delhi. Superintendent of Police and spokesperson Dan Bahadur Thapa confirmed that Sapkota remains in custody at the District Police Range in Bhadrakali.

The Special Bureau arrested Sapkota at the airport before his planned departure for New Delhi. Police have confirmed that he is being held at the District Police Range, Bhadrakali.
Investigation involving AIG Dahal
Dahal was suspended and placed under investigation over allegations that he leaked confidential and sensitive information. Sapkota has been described as a middleman linked to Dahal.
