A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck Uttarakhand in India at 10:38 pm Tuesday, with tremors felt across several areas of Nepal's Far West region, including Darchula, the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center said.
The epicenter was located about 100 kilometers west of Darchula. No damage has been reported so far.
Residents in various parts of the Far West region felt the tremors. Darchula was among the areas where shaking was reported.
