42 Indian Workers Rescued from Brick Kiln in Rautahat

Police rescued 42 Indian citizens who had been stranded at a brick kiln in Rautahat and handed them over to Indian border authorities for their return to India.

The workers had come through an Indian contractor to work at the Madina brick kiln in Laxmipur, Gaur Municipality-5. The kiln is operated by Mahmad Mujamil. The group included 12 men and 11 women.

Contractor became unreachable

The workers were left stranded after the contractor who had brought them to the kiln became unreachable. Police arranged for their return to India and handed them over to authorities at the border.
