24 South Korean Nationals Arrested in Morang Over Religious Training on Tourist Visas

Police have arrested 24 South Korean nationals in Sundarharaicha Municipality-7, Morang, for allegedly participating in religious training and activities while in Nepal on tourist visas.

The group was detained at Nepal New Covenant College, a Christian educational institution on Malati Marg, where the program was being held.

Travel and stay in Nepal

The South Korean nationals reportedly entered Nepal via Kathmandu and Biratnagar on Asoj 20 and 21. They were said to be staying in the country until October 12.

Police arrested the group over their alleged participation in religious training and activities while holding tourist visas.
