The District Election Office in Kavre removed 2,602 names from the district’s voter roll during an update of the list, Information Officer Naresh Manandhar said.
The removals covered people who had died, duplicate registrations and two people who had renounced their citizenship.

The update reduced the number of entries on Kavre’s voter roll by 2,602.
