Jumla recorded the cancellation of 180 industries in fiscal year 2082/83, as the number of businesses being deregistered in the district continues to rise, according to the Industry and Consumer Protection Office.
Office head Tankaprasad Neupane said 188 industries were registered and 334 renewed during the same fiscal year.
Commerce sector figures
In the commerce sector, 61 industries were registered, 58 were renewed and 52 were cancelled in fiscal year 2082/83, according to the office.
